A 15-year success story

Tunc Holding originated in the Tunc Electronics Limited Company, which was founded in 1992. At first, five employees working with a single company vehicle provided engineering services in the telecommunications sector as subcontractors. Thanks to their success, both the staff and technical equipment and facilities soon expanded.

After a highly productive early phase it became clear that Tunc Electronics Limited would continue to grow only if the company enlarged the scope of its business operations and were expanded and ceased operating solely as a subcontractor. A number of subsidiaries were founded in 1997, each with the capacity to provide complete mid-level engineering services. The range of services offered remained focused largely on the telecommuni-
cations sector. Under the name of  Tunc Communications the firm rapidly earned a solid reputation as a strong partner for network providers throughout Turkey.

Rapid growth and the resulting strong market position eventually led to further expansion into foreign markets. The company was restructured in the course of this expansion process and renamed  Tunc Telecommunica-
tions Corporation, giving birth to the Tunc Group. Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S. was integrated along with six other  national  organizations as a  Tunc Group company  into  the newly  established  Tunc Holding  AG. The know-how and experience of the - at peak periods - 1200 people employed by all of the Tunc Holding companies is grounded in 15 years of experience and success in the field of modern communications technology.
