Tunc Holding AG: Negotiation about a worldwide cooperation with Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.

In the course of the negotiations of Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S. with Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd the Tunc Telekomünikasyon’s management has been invited to further meetings at the corporate headquarters of Huawei in China (Bantian, Longgang District Shenzhen 518129, P.R.China).
During these meetings a worldwide cooperation of the two companies should be discussed and pushed. It has been the express wish of Huawei’s executives to discuss the expansion plans of the company and present the possibilities resulting from it to Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S. By doing this a long-term, worldwide and exclusive cooperation should be set out in contract. In 2007 Huawei generated a turnover of US $ 12,56 bn and realised a net profit of US $ 674 m.
For Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S. and its affiliated companies a cooperation with Huawei is byword for a premium partnership and exclusive contracts without tendering. For Tunc Holding AG such a cooperation would generate, next to the guaranteed growth in the countries where its subsidiaries are located already, additional turnover and profit in countries where Huawei Technologies is operating.
Tunc Holding AG has been founded in November 2007 and provides through its seven subsidiaries engineering and support services in the area of telecommunications systems. Tunc Telekomünikasyon A.S. as operational nerve centre of the group is located in Ankara, Turkey. The Turkish subsidiary operates as highly qualified provider in the GSM sector since 1992. The Tunc Holding subsidiaries are active in twelve countries in Asia Minor, Western and Central Asia as well as in Eastern Europe. The broad range of services includes from site survey and infrastructure to the implementation and maintenance of telecommunications systems. Since 1996, the activities have been continuously expanded to include the area of electricity distribution systems with associated services, renewable energy and internet technology.
